Daffodil Daisy

About the book

Daffodil Daisy

The crisp, damp forest was beginning to burst forth with new leaves and grass, all coming awake from the cold, icy winter. Each new day brought more warmth, and new blooms appeared creating a colorful awakening of the earth. The forest animals searching for places to make their homes scurried about with an anticipation of the sunny days ahead.  From the earthworm under the soil to the night owl in the highest treetop, everyone was hard at work.

On the edge of the forest grew a large patch of flowers that was looking extremely brilliant this Spring and their sweet fragrance took the place of the stale air from the winter days gone by. Each day, the bright yellow hues covered the countryside hills until the animals who passed by would talk of how extraordinarily beautiful the daffodils had become.
